Food Fight: Wal-Mart

We have another supermarket in our community review of local eateries. This week, it’s Wal-Mart.

Please consider only the grocery section of Jamestown’s Wal-Mart for this review. Here are some things to consider:

  • Quality of food produced in store and produce offered
  • Variety of products
  • Fairness of prices
  • Cleanliness of store
  • Friendliness of service
  • Specifically, any foods offered ready-to-eat
  • Anything particularly special about this place

Please speak your mind in the comments.

The price it getting higher, especially food section
Seafood section didn’t have much choice and poor quality (Only carry sea food from China).
Hope carry product of USA sea food.
    Carry more organic product.

beware of the produce. though it looks good, and has a pretty good price, produce from Walmart seems to go bad a lot faster than from other stores.

Well the staff in the deli section has been very helpful and nice, as well as the staff in the fresh produce. As far as the quality I feel that for what they have it has been comparable to places such as Hugos. I like that their premade salads do not have eggs, unlike Hugos, being a picky eater is sometimes a pain! I also LOVE their mozzi sticks! Soooo yummy its a good treat to end my shopping trip.
