JRHS plans its second annual potato bar fundraiser

Here’s some news from the James River Humane Society:

The second annual JRHS potato bar fundraiser has been planned for 5 to 7 p.m Feb. 26 at the Knights of Columbus. Tickets are being sold for $10 each. A ticket allows community members to eat at the potato bar (kids 10 and under eat free) and be entered for a chance to win for the cash raffle. Cash prizes include: $200, $125, $75, $50, and two $25 prizes.

This year there will also be a silent auction with the potato bar. Some of the items include a round of golf, gift certificates to various restaurants, three-month membership to Curves, quilts, Fargo Force tickets, hotel rooms, $100 savings bond and cases of Cavendish products. If interested in donating something for the silent auction, contact Ann Ede at 701-320-8304 or aede@triumphnd.com.

For more information about the potato bar or to purchase a ticket for the event, contact the shelter or Ede at 701-320-8304 (aede@triumphnd.com) or Jennie Barnard at 701-320-0779 (jbarnard@triumphnd.com). Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the Knights of Columbus.
