My hubs came home late after going out for a drink with his co-workers, and redeemed himself by showing me this (he’d seen a link on the Jamestown Sun site). Love her comment about not doing the same with the pigs or cows. LOL!

What a touching story. Hungry children coping during the Depression. Also loved the story about picking up coins gamblers had dropped at the place down the road.
