Food Fight: The Depot Family Restaurant

Hello and welcome again to our sort-of weekly community restaurant review, Food Fight. This week, we’re talking about The Depot Family Restaurant, which I had thought we’d already reviewed but it turns out we never have.

This is perhaps the best-known restaurant in all of Jamestown. It’s won “Best Soup” two years in a row in The Sun’s Best of the Buffalo City competition and it sells about 60 gallons of knoephla soup every week. Don’t tell me you haven’t heard of it or eaten there. Just click on the comments box and put in your two cents.

Remember: we want to hear about food, service, prices, decor and anything else you consider relevant.

We live in California and have eaten here only a couple of times when visiting family in ND. Love the soup. It always seems busy, that must be a sign that it pleases people.
