Good dog: Angel

Meet Angel.

Angel is a springer spaniel at the James River Humane Society’s pet shelter in rural Jamestown. Read her profile here. She came to us a few weeks ago as an owner surrender and is looking for a good home.

Angel is among the easier dogs to care for at the shelter. She’s house trained and keeps her kennel rather clean. She also tends to keep herself fairly clean when she’s outside in the dog runs. She would make a good house and family dog, as long as you don’t have any cats. She isn’t very fond of those.

This springer is pretty good at dealing with other dogs, so if you want another dog to keep your current canine company, she’s a great candidate.

If you think Angel could find a home in your family, come by the JRHS between 10 a.m. and noon or 5:30 to 630 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday.
