God bless my family, and my girlfriend’s family, who, for my 25th birthday, colluded together to set me up with a Char-Broil gas grill and the required accessories (tongs, burger flippers, grill cover, etc.)
Morgan and I fired the beast up for the first time Wednesday evening and produced a batch of delicious bratwurst and bratburgers.
The meal was delicious, but the process of preparing the meal was equally lovely. Morgan and I stood out on her deck, watching the sunset and breathing in the warm, late-spring air as the meat sizzled over the flames. It was simply lovely.
And for this weekend, steaks.

Let me know how it goes with using the cast iron smoker box with the grill. I think you can simply set it on top next to the meats – but check it out online to make sure.
Bratburgers? Never heard of those before, but Yum! I’d try one right now, for breakfast.
Yep, nothing like meat grilled over an open flame. A gas grill makes it so much more convenient that you’ll probably use it more often than a charcoal grill. I use mine even in the dead of winter. Nothing like a home made grilled ribeye in January.
Hi, well it looks good enough to eat…….tee hee sounds like you will have a great Summer —- grilled fish-
grilled corn on the cob…………the list
