I am on the board for the James River Humane Society. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter helping animals find their "forever homes" in Jamestown and surrounding communities. I am in charge of a raffle and potato bar that we are having as a fundraiser. We are selling tickets for $10/piece, which gets you into the potato bar and includes 5 different cash prizes.
The drawing and potato bar is February 27th, from 5-7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall. You do not need to be present to win the money! (But, we always welcome visitors!) Please let me know if you are interested in a ticket or 2.
Also, anyone in Jamestown willing to sell a book of tickets please let me know.
