All the film I could hope to shoot

I got a message from an old friend, Lesley, some time ago about a friend of hers who had a bunch of medium-format film that she wanted to give away. I’d been thinking about getting into medium format for a while and I decided to take her up on her offer.

Earlier this week, a parcel was waiting for me on my desk. This is what I found inside:

There’s more than 60 rolls in there (There were also some bags of treats in there, but no need to photograph them). It might be expired, but it’s all likely to still be usable. Besides, there are some downright awesome films in there, including the Fuji Velvia original formulation! Those are priceless!

The funny thing is I don’t have a working medium-format camera at the moment, just an Agfa Isolette I still need to fix. I suppose I’ll have to get to work, then.

Or maybe just get a Rolleiflex or Hasselblad like I’ve always wanted.

Thanks Lesley!

wow, what did your girlfriend say to all that film, i bet it was something like. “hmmm are you going to take all of that to Katie’s wedding?” or are you going to play around with some of it.
