A dinner to raise money for Staff Sgt. John and Angie Awender and their family will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 519 First Ave. S., Jamestown. The cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.
Awender served in Iraq with the North Dakota National Guard’s 817th Engineer Company (Sapper). He came back with a serious back problem and his family needs help.
