City slicker gets a ditch parrot

I went hunting this weekend, and it was a blast. Here is the pheasant rooster I shot Sunday morning. It was the first pheasant, and the first game bird, I have ever harvested.

    It’s in the freezer now, waiting for the next time I fire up the smoker.
