I’ve been noticing more frequently that this job’s tendency to make me jump rapidly from task to task has been making it easy to forget what I’m working on. There are times when I will stand up from my desk to take care of something on the other side of the newsroom only to stop halfway with no idea why I am standing up.
Also, I was on the other side of the building a few moments ago when I had a good idea for a blog post. Only now that I’m at my desk, I can’t remember whatever I was going to write.
getting older sure beats the alternative
