We have a winnar!

At 11:35 this morning, I walked up to the snow and dirt pile in the Jamestown Civic Center’s parking lot and started kicking into the remaining lumps. I found no ice, just mud. The snow pile is dead.

The closest guess was provided by Mike Lynch, who was also the first commenter to leave a guess and, what do you know, he said with his entry to donate the prize to a deserving charity.

So, now I have a new problem: Do I give it to a charity? Which charity? Do I make Mike come in, collect the prize, and donate it himself? Or do I give the prize to the next runner-up?

I’ll decide later. Right now I’ve got a ton of work to do. You readers are welcome to chime in in the comments section.

I think I saw a sock in the pile at one point. Was someone on the pile with their shoes off? I think the prize should go to the guy with one sock. Just kidding. I vote for the runner up to get the prize.

Hey I just remembered, an uncle of mine (Eugene Beglau) just moved back to Jamestown on Memorial weekend, you could give the prize to him.

Oh, I forgot to mention giving it to the runner up is fine too.

The city should hire some High School Kids to clean that corner,Kids can earn Summer Cash and get outdoor excersize then maybe work in the parks cleaning up the flood debris before all the games begin.
